How to set up your TikTok account
Before you immerse yourself in fun things like posting videos, you need to create a TikTok account and familiarize yourself with the platform. Here’s how:
Step 1: Sign up
Go to the App Store or Google Play and download TikTok. When you open the application, you will be on the “For you” page (aka TikTok homepage).
From there, go to the “I” tab at the bottom right of the screen. Here you will be asked to log in using your phone number, email address or previous social media accounts.
how to use and click

Step 2: Check out the “For You” and “Discovery” pages.
Like most social media platforms, trends are coming and going fast with TikTok. So if you want to take advantage of the trend, it is good to intervene immediately. The best way to find out what’s trendy every day is to browse the “For You” and “Discover” pages.
Once you’ve completed the basics, you can start making your videos more interesting with effects, engaging in challenges, and duets with other favorite videos.
You will see an “Effect” button at the bottom of the recording screen. Many of TikTok’s major trends and challenges are at the heart of these effects.
There can be a small learning curve when it comes to making challenges and applying effects correctly. So don’t worry if you have to try it several times before it’s good. You can also record a duet – a popular TikTok feature. Duets split your screen in half and allow you to record alongside videos from other creators. To create a duet, click on the arrow on the existing video and then press “Duet”.
When your video is ready, the last thing you need to do is add a title and click “Add Post.” You can also increase your reach by adding relevant hashtags and finding the best time to place them.
